If you’re struggling to grow your chest or just want to take your training up a notch, try this out. I got this idea from Dr. Mike Israetel (@rpdrmike) so make sure you go check him out for more great content.

Start with a heavy compound movement such as barbell bench press. Do this for 2-4 sets of 6-8 reps.

Move on to an isolation movement such as dumbbell flyes and complete 2-4 sets of 10-12 reps.

Lastly, go back to a lighter compound movement such as wide grip push ups and do 2-4 sets of 12-15 reps.
__
This is a great way to train the fast and slow twitch muscle fibers in one day, maximizing muscle growth.
