Training For Strength vs. Size

Training for hypertrophy and training for strength share many similarities but also a few key differences.

In general, training for strength will involve lower reps ranges and will focus on getting stronger over time.

Usually training for size will involve higher rep ranges and focus on progress volume over time.

In both cases you should get stronger and bigger, but focusing on one at a time will give you the best results for that training style.
