Why You Should Bike Instead Of Run

Many people simply go for a run if they're doing cardio. However, this probably isn't the most beneficial in terms of recovery and joint health. Running on concrete isn't the greatest thing for anyone's joints. This is because running has a large eccentric stress component to it, which is more stressful than the concentric component. Instead, I would recommend cardio be done on a bike. Stationary or just a regular bicycle work perfectly. Biking combines no eccentric stress with a great workout which your joints will thank you for. If you really like running for cardio then keep doing you, but I would definitely give biking a try sometime when you're scheduled to do cardio! For myself it's definitely been a great change. Plus, who doesn't want bigger legs⁉️
